Sustainability in Action Fellowship
Growing sustainability research and action
The Just Transformations to Sustainability Initiative aims to cultivate and support a growing network of Notre Dame students dedicated to building a more just and sustainable world both during their time at Notre Dame and through their future careers. To advance this goal, JTS has selected the inaugural cohort of undergraduate students for the Sustainability in Action Fellowship.
On September 30th, 2026, JTS hosted the first Sustainability in Action Fellowship Symposium, celebrating the undergraduate Fellows' leadership, innovation, and hands-on environmental stewardship. Through a series of three minute lightning talks, each fellow shared key insights from their summer fieldwork/experiences to highlight how their work put JTS’s core mission and guiding principles into action.
