Forests & Livelihoods: Assessment, Research, and Engagement (FLARE)

The FLARE Network seeks to advance knowledge at the intersection of forests and livelihoods and facilitate its application to policy and practice. FLARE is a vibrant international community of scholars, students, and professionals from a range of environmental and social NGOs, development agencies, donors, and research organizations. The Network leverages existing expertise and catalyzes new efforts to develop and share leading-edge research and conversations on livelihoods related to forests and tree-based systems. In so doing, FLARE seeks to support policy development, on-the-ground action, and learning that furthers environment, development, and equity goals in countries across the globe.
