At Notre Dame, critical research is being done in areas including social and environmental resilience, biodiversity conservation, clean water and air, energy security, and sustainable agriculture. By supporting existing centers of research excellence and investing in new lines of inquiry, the Just Transformations to Sustainability Initiative catalyzes the creation of knowledge, tools, and networks that can achieve tangible and lasting benefits for scholars and students, for policymakers and practitioners, and for communities around the world.
